Rebecca DiCicco began her love for working with individuals with special abilities in grade school, she began tutoring hard of hearing/deaf students (her favorite was teaching spelling words), always volunteered to be a peer helper throughout jr. high and high school, in college working in day camps in the summer, and then group homes.
Before Behavioral Consulting Rebecca taught and supported teachers in a variety of settings for 10 plus years in Indianapolis. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading and a Middle School endorsement. Rebecca earned a Masters in Special Education from Ball State University. She also took extensive coursework in education administration as well as courses to become a special education director. Although, 8 years ago life pulled her in a different path (behavioral consulting). These experiences and education have given her a well rounded approach to providing services for our clients!
Personally, she loves her family! She is married to her husband Mike and they have 3 kids, Dominic (Bonus Son)- 20yrs old, Greyson-12yrs old, and Elizabeth-4 yrs old. In Rebecca’s spare time you can find her enjoying life, whether its experiencing new adventures, taking a trip to the beach or mountains, watching her kids play sport/extracurriculars, or going to a concert, especially the Dave Matthews Band!
Her goal in working with clients is to promote and protect client rights by teaching/helping them to advocate for themselves, support their full inclusion in the community, and to help them live a healthy, happy, and meaningful life!
